As part of a project led by the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie (OIF) and implemented in Huye by RWAMREC (Rwanda Men’s Resource Center), Pierre‑Jean Fasan has created a sensitive and committed video, shedding light on the daily lives of young mother girls and the solutions provided for their social and economic reintegration.

The film delicately and humanely portrays the challenges faced by these teenage girls, who encounter early pregnancies, often stemming from contexts of vulnerability, stigma, and exclusion. Through a narrative embodied by the beneficiaries themselves, the video highlights RWAMREC’s grassroots work: support groups, father and male figure guidance, vocational training, community awareness, and psychosocial support.

More than a simple report, the video acts as an advocacy tool, a space for visibility for voices too often silenced, and a source of inspiration for other organizations working on adolescent girls’ rights and gender equality.

The production, sober and respectful, leaves room for emotion while delivering a clear message: these young girls are not victims to be hidden, but agents of change who must be supported and heard.

This audiovisual work is part of Pierre‑Jean Fasan’s ongoing commitment to transformational communication in service of social justice, dignity, and the empowerment of women across the African continent.
