For several years, Bigwi Film Agency has established itself as a key player in audiovisual production dedicated to international criminal justice. Led by its founder, Pierre-Jean Fasan—a filmmaker and audiovisual consultant—the agency has worked with major institutions such as the International Criminal Court (ICC), the Special Criminal Court (SCC) in the Central African Republic, and the Association of Francophone International Judges (AMIF).

To date, over thirty videos have been produced, covering the complex challenges of international law, judicial processes in post-conflict settings, mechanisms to fight impunity, and initiatives promoting fair justice. This body of work serves to inform, raise awareness, and engage the public, making legal concepts more accessible to wider audiences.

Unique Expertise in Judicial Storytelling

Creating films about international criminal justice requires more than technical skill—it demands the ability to visually translate complex legal concepts, respect strict ethical guidelines (protection of witnesses, accuracy, neutrality), and craft narratives that are human, engaging, and accessible.

Bigwi Film Agency has developed a specialized approach to this balance. Through diverse formats—mini-documentaries, judge profiles, educational capsules, and testimonies—the agency combines a rigorous visual language with a storytelling method adapted to the sensitive themes of international law. The goal is to inform, humanize, and foster dialogue.

Presence on International Platforms

The videos are designed for distribution through the digital channels of institutional partners, including official YouTube channels, social media, and internal training platforms. Bigwi’s full control of the production chain—from pre-production to digital publishing—ensures optimal dissemination, even in low-connectivity areas, thanks to lightweight and subtitled formats.

Some of the productions have been used in training programs for African magistrates, in institutional campaigns on human rights, and during international events such as transitional justice days and forums on impunity.

A Personal Commitment Behind Every Project

Beyond technical know-how, it is a deep personal commitment to justice, truth, and memory that drives Pierre-Jean Fasan’s collaborations with the international justice community. This is reflected in his rigorous fieldwork, sensitivity to victim narratives, and constant attention to historical and sociopolitical context.

Bigwi Film Agency does more than film—it supports, illuminates, and amplifies. It transforms the moving image into a powerful tool for understanding, healing, and transmission. This ethical and human-centered approach has made the agency a trusted audiovisual partner within the field of international criminal justice.

WE ENVISION A FUTURE WHERE JUSTICE IS NOT ONLY DELIVERED, BUT DEEPLY UNDERSTOOD, SHARED, AND UPHELD BY ALL.
